Because the eXite® webIT client is a self-contained server, firewalls will try to block it. If you want to allow access from other computers than the webIT client was installed on, you have to permit this in your firewall configuration.
Of course the structure of these dialogues depend on the used system/firewall.
Zone Alarm

If you want to allow access from other computers, activate "Remember this setting" and click on Allow. Otherwise click on Deny. |
Following, you'll see this window, that you must accept by enabling "Remember this setting" and clicking on Allow. |
Windows-Firewall
If you use the Windows Firewall, you'll see the window shown beside. Click on Keep Blocking to deny the access from other computers or Unblock to allow it. |
Other Firewalls
If you use another firewall, please consult its manual for instructions on how to allow or block the access from other computers.
