Addressing of messages within eXite® is done within the transmitted messages. Therefore it is necessary to parse header information of all transferred messages.

eXite® is able to process messages which have been sent either in EDIFACT, or XML according to the UN/CEFACT XML Header. Furthermore eXite® provides the functionality to route special IDOC-XML-files. Please contact the eXite®-support for more information concerning this message format.

Files in other formats have to be encapsulated in a header of one of the above mentioned formats.

Processing instructions are then removed from the XML content and optionally to be put at the very beginning of the eveloped data.

The data to be enveloped is then put in the SBD (Standard Business Document), directory after the SBDH (Standard Business Document Header) tag.

Please note, that XML messages need to be successfully validated before transmission.
