eXite® supports the FTP over SSL (FTPS) communication protocol.

FTPS (also known as FTP Secure and FTP-SSL) is an extension to the commonly used File Transfer Protocol (FTP) adding the support for the Transport Layer Security (TLS) and the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) cryptographic protocols.

With FTPS the following eXite® functions can be used:

send data to eXite®

receive data from eXite®

list the content of a mailbox

query the status of sent messages

FTPS communication can be used with any FTP client sofware which supports FTP over SSL (e.g. WSFTP, FileZilla)
