Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

eXite® as a communication service for electronic business transactions offers different communication possibilities. Each possibility supports all or a part of the eXite® functions and security features.

The protocol which supports all the functions offered by eXite® and provides the highest level of security is the P2Pv2 (peer to peer) eXite® protocol. This protocol is also used by all software providers who offer eXite® communication clients. Other supported communication protocols are the EDIINT AS2 protocol and the FTPS protocol.

How should I communicate with eXite®?

If the user wants to dispose of the full range of eXite® features and be sure the data will be transmitted safely, the P2Pv2 protocol is recommended. There are some software providers who offer eXite® clients on good terms. Software providers (in alphabetical order):

Avenum Technologie GmbH

Edifactory

Seeburger

TWZ

If you have already a running EDIINT AS2 environment it can be used to communicate with eXite®.
