P2Pv2 Communication Protocol

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

P2Pv2 is the most effective communication protocol in order to work with the eXite® communication platform. The actual data transmission is carried out via a TCP/IP socket connection, using SSL for encryption.

The main functions of the P2Pv2 protocol are:

sending data to eXite®

receiving data from eXite® using various optional filter criteria

list the content of a mailbox using various optional filter criteria

query the status of sent messages

active notification of incoming data

active forward of incoming data

P2Pv2 includes several methods for the security of data and the secure process of transmission. P2Pv2 makes sure that the transaction with eXite® is completed without any error or data loss. P2Pv2 uses encryption, timestamps, checksum and a commitment control for the complete security of your data.
