Using the function "Mailbox Maintenance Times", the user has the possibility to configure a time span where the following eXite features shouldn't be automatically executed:

 

•Active Notification - During this period, the message-notification won't be automatically forwarded to the users host/mail address.

•Active Forwarding - During this period, the messages won't be automatically forwarded to the users host.

•Mailbox surveillance - During this period, any messages won't be alerted.

 

 

This function is useful, when the user has planned frequent server maintenance windows. Without using this function, eXite would try to reach the server for a special amount of times. After that special amount of tries, eXite would stop trying to transmit the data to your host. After that, these messages can of course still be manually collected.
