This mailbox parameter offers a selective pick up of messages, DESADV* for example picks up all messages, whose message class starts with the term “DESADV”.

 

 

The figure above illustrates a mailbox which contains ORDERS (from two different com- mercial enterprises), DESADV and INVOICE. The user wants to collect a specific message type (in this case ORDERS) and avoid manual separation of orders refering to the commercial enterprises. For this reason, the user has the opportunity to select the message type “ORDER” by ORDERS8* and ORDERS9* to save them in the designated folder on your system. The function “generic message class” is only working for eXite®_link users.
