Within eXite®, the user has the possibility to search for addresses. Consequently, it is possible to check, if a recipient can be reached via the eXite® system. The following parameters are available for the address search:
•Address - The logical mailbox
•Name
As a result, a list of all matching addresses will be displayed with the following information for each entry:
•Address
•Type (physical or logical)
•Name
If the requested address can not be found, it is possible to request the creation of a specific address by clicking on “request the creation of an address”. The application form has to be filled out with all known data:
•Address (GLN)
•Name
•Type of address
▪Logical address
▪Gateway (external address) and entry of the address type, which has to be filled out only in case of an external address
•IE address (if external type is IE)
•X400 address (if external address type is X.400)
After you have entered the required data, click “request was sent” to transmit the application form to the responsible eXite® administrator.
