The following will briefly outline the communication of a complete business process with your business partner. It is possible and also common to skip single steps, depending on the agreements with your partner.

Your partner sends an order.

You send a despatch advice and deliver the ordered goods.

Your partner confirms the delivery with a receiving advice and states possible differences to your despatch advice.

If necessary, you correct the delivery, reissue a despatch advice and send an invoice.

If necessary, you can create an credit note from the sent invoice.
