A invoice positions contains information about the billed product, like

•the product itself

•the billed quantity

•the free quantity

•price per unit

•the total amount per position, which is calculated automatically

The VAT rate can't be edited here. It is taken directly from the products and prices master data. The same is true for the price base, except that it can be directly edited here.

Fees

You can add fees per position. These are automatically contained in the total.
