Master data contains information about corporations, your business partners, products, etc. This data is used throughout the whole application and connects GTINs and GLNs with the corresponding products and locations.

The pages for editing the master data can be reached via the navigation bar.

Before you use the webIT client, you have to correct and complete the master data. Otherwise it could happen that you work with wrong or incomplete information.

After you've saved a master-data-entry you can't alter its GLN or GTIN to prevent manipulation of old messages. If you want to assign a new number to an item, create a new one with the desired number.
