You can migrate the master data of your old eXite webIT client installation by performing the following steps:

 

1.Exit the old webIT client using the icon in the tray bar.

2.Go to the db-folder in the old installation directory of the webIT client and open the latest backup-folder.

3.Copy all contained CSV-files (except client.db.data) to an external media (e. g. USB-stick, external hard disk, ...).

4.Switch to the import directory of your new webIT client installation.

5.Insert all previously copied files into the import-directory.

 

After performing these steps, the new webIT client contains exactly the same master data as the previously used one.

As last step, the eXite user and password need to be additionally set, as described in section eXite®.
